The three RDA’s, One NorthEast, Yorkshire Forward and Northwest Regional Development Agency, are working together through the flagship economic initiative the Northern Way. They have invested £4.4m into an ambitious public art programme ‘Welcome to the North’ as part of the ‘Market the North to the World’ investment priority which ultimately aims to improve perceptions of the north and attract overseas visitors to the North of England.
